At twenty to midnight Neil Griffon's home is broken into and he is roughly abducted by masked men. Dick Francis never fails to entertain and to hold one on the edge of their seat and he did it again with this story. He develops his characters so that you either love them or hate them but at the same time understand them. "Bonecrack" is a stunning thriller which also lets you get to know the players very well indeed. You don't have to be interested in horse racing to enjoy every single one of his books.
This was as, his other books an excellent CD to lisen to. My daughter highly recommends it; so it's my turn next, then we'll relist it. I haven't lisened to a Dick Francis yet that I've been disappointed in.

I am a big fan of Dick Francis.
I've never read a Dick Francis book I didn't like and this one was no exception. He always incorporates suspense and humor in every book which makes them very enjoyable to read.
This book is not a literary masterpiece, but does not intend to fill that category. A simple, entertaining little read. Suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride.
