This is a book of short stories by some big names in horror. It was published in 1988 and is a real gem, in my opinion.
The first few stories are by F. Paul Wilson, a writer who is still very popular. The first story concerns a selfish lawyer who is taught a lesson in empathy. The second story, the Facelift Killer, gives a unique twist to a story about a serial killer. In Wilson's final story, a murderer holds an old man hostage in his home. But is the man as helpless as he seems?
Ray Garton and Sheri S. Tepper wrote the other stories in this book. Garton's story is a dark one that combines religious fanaticism with werewolves. There is also a story about a gardener commissioned to do a very strange garden...for an even stranger clientel.
Overall, this book is a winner.

If your into this type of story, then go for the read. It is a combination of several great terror book writers. Dean Koontz, Paul Wilson, and Ray Garton.
If you are ready for a bit of terror and fear, this book will not disappoint you. Even
Stephen King enjoyed it enough to add in his two cents.
Dr's who are being sued for malpractice, turn out to be involved in the occult. You are there at the rituals as they play out. Big time freaky.
Makes you wonder about your neighbors and friends. This sucker will keep you up at night, because your mind won't quit seeing the horrors in this story.
