Lauren, the sculpting instructor; Kerry, the student selected to intern with a world-famous sculptor; and the sculptor himself, Ashley Stassler, whose brilliant depictions of families caught in moments of extreme agony are created in the most frightening way imaginable. Like the best of Michael Slade this story takes you on a dark ride into the mind of a psycho. An artist whose sculptures of people in pain and terror are extremely realistic. How does he do it? If you like gruesome and grisly I think there is enough of it in here for you. Surprise! surprise! suprise!

I could NOT put this book down after the first few pages. The author wastes no time to get right into the action of the book. It is not, however, good for the faint of heart. The book is very graphic and some of the situations literally turned my stomach, but it's like a car crash: it's horrible, but you can't help but to keep reading.
