This book is one that is so-so. Everyone is so beautiful, so talented just the very best at everything. There is the heroine who is not only so beautiful, but she but her musical skills are so great even though she is at college to further master them. Her best friend is. Not only so talented playing the violin, but she works part time as a waitress. She is so good as a waitress, just the best. Of course, she is so beautiful. The hero was so overwhelmed looking into her dark, dark eyes. She had a voice that flowed like syrup. There must be a mystery that only these people could solve. I had a tough time with so much up to this point that I was so bored and could not finish it. I gave it two stars because I didn't finish it. It may have had some redeeming qualities.

I did like this book, although it had two unrelated storylines that were only tied together by the characters knowing each other. I would have liked it better if the stories themselves had some sort of twist that intersected them more. That said, the book kept my interest from the beginning through the end.

I look forward to each new book in this FBI series as I do love the team of Savich and Sherlock. Griffin is a new member of the team, recruited by Dillon and is an interesting and welcome character.

This is the typical duo-mystery written by the author, but I didn't like this book as much as the previous ones. I found it boring at times, and I did skim a lot.

A new British James Bond type character has been introduced, and maybe that will spice things up a bit. I will surely read the next one.

As always in the series, there is a crime, the solving of the crime by the FBI, and an someone falling in love. This is a good series that isn't quite a cozy but close. There is violence but not so much that people would not be able to read it. If you pick up a crime mystery you would have to expect some violence. In this story an FBI agent's sister comes home, finds a body in her tub and is hit on the head. Her brother happens to be on his way to see her and heads the investigation which expands and morphs into an international drug cartel scene as well as investment fraud. Good easy reading or listening series.

Catherine Coulter is one of my favorite authors, and she doesn't disappoint in this story. Her characters are fun and interesting and the plot very enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story. Then again its Catherine Coulter, I don't think I've ever read a book by her that wasn't great. Savage and Sherlock are a side story, you would want to read the beginning stories to get their background. (which I loved). I like how she continues to bring their characters into the story line while introducing new ones.
