All Tip Roddy knew about High Wind MacDowell, other than that his cattle were the best range stock in the Southwest, was a rumor picked up in Redregon to the effect that old High Wind was having a concrete statue made of himself and that he was setting it up at the Dog Wolf water hole that had been fought over for so many years. Without being invited, Roddy rode out to see High Wind.
