I know from the many testimonials I've seen that this is a great book for many people. It is not a "diet" book, but a way of looking at your life and deciding how the "body clutter" got there and how to go about helping it get off your body. Since I am not really interested in delving into those emotions, I am glad to give it to someone else.

Nothing new here. If you have read Flylady site and Sink Reflections, you have heard all of this before.

I love Flylady's system for maintaining my home but I found this book to be more of a synapsis about the authors' experiences with weight issues. I commend their bravery though in sharing their stories with the world and they do have some helpful ideas in it.

If you are already fairly knowledgable in nutrition and exercise, then this book is probably a little too "baby step" for you. I feel it is for the real beginner just starting to learn to "love themselves." Excellent book, but things I already knew.

Nice book. Not as good as Sink Reflections was, but nice. A lot of good content. For a more thorough education on the psychology of weight, I preferred Fattitudes by Jeffrey and Norean Wilbert.
