This was one of my childhood favorite books. Its about the relationship between two sisters and how the same situations are seen differently. Similar to 'Jacob have I Loved' but a happier ending.

Another great read by Janette Oke. I believe this book stands alone and is not a part of a series. This book takes place during the Victorian era and explores the relationship between two very different sisters.

This tells the story of two sisters who could not be more opposite. But in the end find they have more in common than they think.
probably one of the most delightful books written by Janette Oke. Definitely a must read.

There were moments when she wished she were an only child, that her mother had never blessed her with a baby sister. (A woman who was the serious, plain child with a sparkling outgoing sister, makes peace in her own heart)

In my opinion, not one of Janette Oke's better books. I used to love reading her books. This one just had too much "Lucky her! Poor me!" for my taste. Otherwise, the story was good.
