Great to see Sunny Randall and Jesse Stone get together in this book.
great book in th Sunny Randall series
I love Parker's sarcasm and wit. Not a big fan of the Stone books, more a Sunny Randall fan. This crossover was the perfect mix of the two. As always, a little predictable, but in a safe, comforting way.
I always liked the Jesse Stone series and now you can put a face to him of Tom Selleck, I haven't read many of the Spenser series, I've tried Sunny Randall books but they just kind of fall short for me, maybe it's the dog.
Love Sunny Randall! Great book, fast read, fun, good story. Like all of Parker's characters, this one is terrific. He writes men characters (Spenser & Jesse) and women characters (Sunny) equally well - with the same wit.
This is and excellent book in typical Robert Parker style - fast paced, a real page turner. I would be surprised if you can put it down before you finish!
When an acquaintance recommended Robert B. Parker as an author whose books were absolutely worth reading, I decided to check one of his book out. It happened to be BLUE SCREEN. A tricksy plot. Likeable characters (as well as some not so likeable.) Some satisfying come-uppances . . . I enjoyed it immensely! Rats! As if a confirmed book-o-holic like me truly needed another set of exceptionally good books to dive into. Now I reeeaally need to go out and get the other books in this series. I recommend this highly to any mystery lover.
From back cover: Sunny Randall is hired by a sleazy producer to serve as bodyguard for his prize client--an impossibly spoiled B-list beauty whose backstory is full of deadly complications . . .

Sunny and Jesse meet for the first time in this one while they are investigating a murder(of course). Like the writing of Parker, the clipped dialouge that makes each page easy to read and makes the story move along good without a lot of descriptions.
Another enjoyable entry in the Sunny Randall series. Too bad there will be no more. I may have to restart his other series in order to continue to enjoy his work.
Another Robert Parker fun read! Real page turner that keeps you guessing right to the end of the story. Enjoyed it very much!
Sunny and Jesse hit it off...I have been waiting a long time for this.
Sunny Randall takes a case in Paradise and works with Jesse Stone. There is also a cameo appearance by Susan Silverman.
Sunny Randall and Jesse Stone - what a PAIR (in more ways than one!). This is a great read!!
VERY cool, Jessie Stone meets Sunny Randall. And all of the "cool" Sunny characters join the investigation.... great story and I love it when the authors intertwine their series a bit.
In gift condition - in case you know a Robert Parker Fan. This is a great read - fans of both Sunny Randall AND Jesse Stone will enjoy it immensely.
Another great Sonny Randall book.
Good story. Enjoyed the book.
Another in the new (to me) Sunny Randall series. The female Spenser takes charge, along with Jesse Stone, police chief of Paradise. Great suspense.
Huge Robert B Parker fan. Never met one of his books I didn't love!
Sunny & Jesse really do make a cute item!
I love all the Sunny Randall books.Robert Parker said he orginally wrote the 1st Sunny Randall book as a vehicle for Helen Hunt as an idea for a movie..but no movie has ever been done.. i say for the best read.. 1st read all the Jesse Stone books by Parker and then the Sunny Randall. they are both great series...
