The story is good but all the "he said" and "she said" interrupt the flow of the story.

Sisters who are servicing a brute of a pimp who has become a producer of movies. One sister has a body to die for while the other sister dies suddenly under mysterious circumstances. A woman detective gets involved as a bodyguard and later as a hero in the bold rescue of the eldest sister. 6 hours on 5 compact discs

A few twists and turns made what could have been a mundane book a more interesting read. Personally, I could have done without the budding romance between the main character, Sunny Randall, a private investigator, and the town's Chief of Police, Jesse Stone. The story of the murder and solving it could have been enough.
