I LOVE this book! Not only is it fun to read but it is also a great beginning to read book. I really have trouble with helping kids read with BORING books, so this is a great place to start. There is not a lot of figuring out to do, so once they figure out the pattern they can predict what comes next and feel successful as a reader. All my kids 'read' this as one of their first books. They loved to read it over and over.
My daughter and I love this book. It's one of the first books that she now reads to me! (And she's not even 2 yet!) The book shows a few animals wearing an article of clothing correctly, and then a turkey wearing it the wrong way (like a shoe on his head). Whenever you get to the turkey, the caption is "Oops!". My daughter volunteers the "Oops" and then tells me what the turkey did wrong ("shoe on head!"). A very fun book to read together.
Love all of Sandra Boynton's books. My kids don't even know they are learning. The love the pictures
