I love this series. So imaginative and different!
Helpful Score: 1
Much better than Xanth!
In this series, Piers Anthony combines the sci-fi world of Proton, where Stile is a serf who is incredibly good at the Game, which may win him his citizenship some day, and the magic world of Phaze, where Stile is taking the place of his dead alter-ego the Blue Adept and trying to master the powers of sorcery. As if that weren't enough, on both worlds someone is trying to assassinate him.

You must like punny jokes.
Book 2 in Piers Anthony's Adept Trilogy. Good mix of fantasy and sci-fi.
SEQUEL TO SPLIT INFINITY, IT PICKS UP WHERE THE OTHER LEFT OFF AND IS JUST AS ENGAGING.
This is a wonderful next step in the Apprentice Adept series. It gives readers more background on Stile, Neysa, and Lady Blue. It also introduces us to more of the fantastic creatures that inhabit Phaze/Proton. I can't wait to get the next one!
I know NOTHING about this book. I just found it when cleaning out my son's room after he graduated from college. He passed it on to me, but I didn't read it. He really liked the series, though.
