Helpful Score: 2
Very good book! Second book in the series. Be sure to read Whiskey Sour first. I felt like the book was well written and entertaining! The main character is a female, and although the book is written by a man it seems to work well. Love that cat! Action packed and full of murder and danger, it is also full of oneliners and other comedy. Some say graphic but I don't think it is. QUICK to read. Flows smoothly and makes you want to pick up the next so you can get right back into the adventure. Best read in order so you understand the characters, the relationships and the past casts and situations referred to. Be sure to pick up Rusty Nail next.
Book 2 in the funny and suspenseful "Jack" Daniels series.
This is book 2 in the Jack Daniels mystery series, I knew when I first picked up Whiskey Sour I was going to be drunk on this series, a hard nosed Chicago Cop, who is smart sassy and VERy good at her job.
I really enjoying this series.
Fun read!!
Lt. "Jack" Daniels is an insomniac cop. Brilliantly funny - but a warning, it's also graphic. I don't ordinarily like graphic stories, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat while at the same time laughing like crazy over the dialogue, which is really witty.
Another great story in the Jack Daniels series. This time Jack & Herb are chasing a serial killer a little too close to home. Add in Jack's new boyfriend, her ex-husband & mom and there's a non stop joyride of suspense & laughter
