An interesting fictional account of medical school experience thru residency of Canadian physicians. Written by an ER physician, many of the stories seem to reflect a personal experience. Struggles choosing studies vs personal relations, what happens during dissecting labs, dealing with SARS among health care providers, what happens to a women in advanced labor while her husband is stuck out of town, managing a paranoid patient - all scenarios have ring of truth. If you are interested in medical education and practice, you will enjoy.
Really excellent book of thought proking stories.
I really enjoyed this book. There are a couple stories that are a little wierd, but all in all, the stories are intereting and weave together nicely for a look at a few med students through the years.
I wasn't too impressed with this book. I guess I was expecting something more "Grey's Anatomy", and this book just didn't have that excitement for me. I finished it, but found myself bored most of the time.
