This book was good but it was kind of slow. It did have a different ending though and that was refreshing.

This review about the book from AMAZON best describes the storyline:

Psychic Charlotte Vickers has assisted the police on many cases involving missing people. Charlotte typically focuses her talent by touching the palms of someone who wants a reading and by holding onto an object of the missing person. Both methods connect her to the mind of the missing person.

A desperate Natalie Fortunato awakens Charlotte praying the psychic can locate her lover Paul last seen about a year ago. Charlotte links with Paul and learns he lives in Colorado with a wife and two children. After Natalie extracts more specific detail from Charlotte, she departs. Charlotte has second thoughts about her visitor because she feels her newest client did not appear lovesick in any way. Instead she seems more of an avenging angel.

Natalie is the daughter of a Mafia Don seeking the individual who turned state's evidence that sent her father to prison. Charlotte concludes that Natalie wants Paul and his family dead and the Don's daughter has the thugs capable of accomplishing the deed. She intends to find Paul and warn him.

BLOODHOUND is an exciting thriller that uses paranormal elements to propel the plot forward. Charlotte is a complex character who loves and hates her gift. Her morality demands she takes responsibility for the consequences of her power.

I felt this book kept my interest!
