I have always loved her books, this one was so confusing to follow, it jumps around too much. I was very disappointed.

In [book:Blood Sins|3630983] after the massive psychic explosion that ultimately killed Samuel (the bad guy), everyone at SCU who was involved in the incident felt their abilities change - some for the good and some not. The SCU team is involved in the continuing serial killer case that has dragged on for numerous books now. In this installment, the sniper and the serial killer mysteries are intense and suspenseful - you never know just what is going to happen next. The SCU team are all interesting characters who have evolved over the twelve books in the series and are still developing both mentally and psychically. It's a romantic suspense novel only in name as the characters develop romantic interests but never actually act on them. Just a good mystery and written in such a way that you don't really even have to know what happened in previous books.

Noah Bishop must search out the enemy trying to take out his team, while the team searches out the serial killer who's been dumping bodies in and around the small town of Serenade. But, this time, a sniper is taking shots at the team while they investigate the murders. And, somehow the enemy seems to be one step ahead of them.
