For some this will be a great book and give rave reviews
For me? not so great as it has a ridiculous plot

So Frankie feels like she has to 'look out' for her sister, wellllll they are both adults and why do you have to watch out for your sibling when you have your own son (single mom) to look after and declining parents. So she insinuates herself in all areas of an investigation that just isn't believable after a girl disappears and supposedly her truck was used which suggests her sister is involved etc

This is written in the format of NOW and 5 years ago, I am so tired of that format when it just isn't necessary, however this story goes back to the incident 5 yrs ago that Frankie had to 'protect' Izzy and yada yada yada

Just was not a thriller to me so only giving 3* barely, it's way too long and too slow
