A fascinating book about the discovery by a young writer about his uncle who was a legendary mob killer. It sounds like fiction but is non-fiction and is quite compelling. His uncle is a remarkable and horrible person and is alternately frightening and charming. The book itself is well written and very well researched. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

A chilling portrait of a man seemingly without a conscience, written by the grand-nephew who ended up perhaps wishing he'd never discovered this particular skeleton in the family closet.

Interesting book.. This New York writer finds out the family secret that his great Uncle is in prison, convicted as a hit man for the mob. He has numerous meetings with the Uncle and details the history of the past events etc from him and various family members and other involved. Well written.
