Maria Lima is a new favorite! I am so enjoying the Blood Lines series. I love her since of humor, sarcasim, and (not so) veiled references to other series and current events. Her writing style is completely different from any other in this genre and I am totally loving it!
Blood Kin was full of twists and turns and unexpected outcomes. Certain events throughout the book had me totally surprised but thinking how did I not see that coming. I have been devouring this series and this one was no differnt.
I do have a couple tiny complaints. 1. A character in a previous book was named Greg, in this installment he was refered to as Gary. WTH? He was an unimportant character, but still, really? 2. A character was described as having eyes that matched his tie, blue. Then later described as having his mothers coloring, dark hair and dark eyes. Again WTH? I just found it unfortunate that in such a well written, excellent book that some small matters of continuity would be overlooked like that.
Overall great read, great series. I am going to try to get my hands on the next intstallment ASAP.
