The credibility of two people, formerly unknown to each other, to become a couple within the confines of a short story, if fairly difficult to pull off effectively. The author had great dialogue, interesting characters, and a clear plot. However, it all seemed rushed to me and the ending tied up all the stray problems too neatly.
Luke Nash, a loner, is invited to spend Christmas with his best friend (Stetson) and his pregnant wife. Unknown to each other, Stetson's wife, Jennifer, invites her best friend, Bonnie. The weekend spreads across several days because of a whiteout blizzard. That gives Bonnie and Luke the opportunity to get to know each other.
Sorry, but I didn't find any compelling reason to "tune in for another episode."
