I liked this book quite a bit. It brought up quite a few good points about predestination vs. free will and the differences and similarities between Islam and Christianity and what is really important in life. The story is pretty fast paced, and the only real problem I had with it was that I could not keep the different Saudi Arabian names straight so I got really confused as to who was who and what their positions were. It made things a little confusing, but doesn't really hurt the story. Maybe making a list of names as you read so you can remember who's who will work - I wish I had. But other than that it's a really good read.

This is a very good book, however, it seems to have a lot of repeat in it about the 'gift' given to Seth to see into the future, the names are very hard to pronounce and that gets annoying very quick. Over all it is a good story and Dekker pulled it off again.

Not my usual read, but couldn't put it down until finding out how it all turns out. A look into Muslim religion and questions about God. What will he allow to happen.

Great Book! This is the first book of his that I have read and once I started it I couldn't put it down. Just when you think you can guess what is going to happen he surprises you. Will definately be reading more by this author.

I have my favorites with any author but i am at this time back into Ted Decker thrillers. This is one of his better reads. On the edge, get no sleep and all hiper after reading, it is hard to go to sleep until you find out what happens next. I find it best to start one of Mr Deckers books on a weekend when it is raining and there isn't so much demand for your time, you will not want to lay this one aside even if the vaccuum is setting in front of you plugged in, i loved it.

BLINK OF AN EYE was the July 2014 pick in my online book club, The Reading Cove.

After getting off to a great start, things unfortunately went downhill in a blink!

A Saudi Arabian princess on the run is saved over and over again by a modern-day Einstein who never had a good reason for risking his own life in the first place. And once they're on the run, eluding the evil Muslim powers that be, the tension quickly fizzles, and Seth's "gift of sight" becomes increasingly annoying as a convenient and gimmicky plot device.

I had high hopes in the first quarter, but BLINK OF AN EYE turned out to be a poorly pacedand poorly plottedlet down by the fourth. I give it a C.
