A great read--4 stars--that deals with terrorism. This book stands alone--not in a series. It starts with an explosion. One person notices that 2 men are watching the effect--not caught up in the horror--and follows them.
A different cast of characters, and while still set in AK, an altogether different type of novel for Stabenow.
An international collision with a terrorist's mark is about to take place - a Russian freighter armed with a dirty bomb is heading directly towards an American target on the mainland. At the heart of the crisis is the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Sojourner Truth, patrolling hte Maritime Boundary Line. The chase is on - can the Sojourner come to the rescue in time or will the fate of 240,000 civilians be in the hands of a few vicious assasins?
Book has the CIA, Coast Guard, FBI....all attempting to quell a terrorist attack in Alaska.
Good book! Takes a little bit for the story to get going but if you are patient the story grabs you and you don't want to put it down!
