This is another really good story from Benn. With my interest in World War II, I keep trying to catch the author in mistakes, as I catch so many others, pretending they know everything about that war. But I usually fail to do so. In fact, I thought I caught one from Benn in this book, but, after researching it, discovered he was right and I was mistaken.
I really enjoy his stories, as well as the characters he develops and hope he writes many more. Unfortunately, Benn has Boyle living in May 1944 now and the war only lasted a year longer. Perhaps Benn will have more stories about Billy Boyle after he is released from active duty. Could be, Billy's 'Uncle' Ike might have more confidential missions for Billy before and/or after the presidential election in November 1951. Who can say? Only the author knows.
