I felt that this is one book by Christopher Rice that was just as good as the rest of his stories. In this book topics not so much oriented around a 'gay relationship' in the present. More so about learning to accept people and much suspense and thrill as the rest of Christopher Rice's books full of twists and turns. Loyalty of friendship and homophobia as is seen in the days of today, as well as self discovery. I felt as I read that I did not ever know what was going to happen next. As I said it touched a lot on homophobic issues, the military, and many other subjects one may find not otherwise spoken of in a Gay Mans Life. The truth and more not so glamorous side of being a gay couple in a small town.
A good book. I have enjoyed all of Rice's 4 books. This is good, but not as good as his previous 3.
Its about a Marine who is investigating the death of his marine buddy, whom he soon discovers was secretly gay. A couple nice twists in the end.

Somewhat disappointing after having read his previous three books.
