This is the third book in McCarthy's "Vegas Vampires" series. It tells Brittany Baldizzi's story. After a sexual encounter with Corbin Atelier in a previous novel, Brittany finds herself pregnant with a possible vampire child in "Bled Dry." The book has a smattering of politics, some humor and hot sex. Entertaining and a fast read.

Quick beach read. Starts a little heavy on the fantasy science. Once you are past that it is a pretty funny romp. Pregnant women and women with children will appreciate the pregnancy humor. I was pleasantly surprised and recommend this book.
If you've been a fan of this series and have been keeping up on it...Brittany's having a baby!! And I could tell you my favorite part of the book but talk about a major spoiler. However, we do find out who her dad is and at the end of the book you could almost like him! Pick it up and enjoy it today and if you haven't read this series yet, you have got to start now!
Erin McCarthy seems to be hit or miss. I've read two I enjoyed (neither from this series) and three that I hated. This book sucks (not in a good way). The first book in the series was OK, not a real winner but the setup of the situation with Brittany and Corbin made me want to read the resolution. I had enough trouble with the first book so I skipped directly to this story, not bothering with book two. I wish I hadn't bothered. I actually couldn't read the entire book. Boring, all the characters sound the same, Corbin doesn't seem even remotely sexy. It was just painful to read and I finally decided I didn't care enough about any of these characters to finish the book.
Another great installment of the series. Funny, witty, and hard to put down! My hubby even thought this was a great book!
I was excited to read the book, once I finished the first 2 books, because I wanted to know the rest of Corbin and Brittney's story. I was alittle disappointed. It wasn't as exciting as I was hoping. It was a fast read. I liked the first book better. Now I need to read book 4 to see how it all ends.
another great vampire book by erin mc carthy
I loved this book in the series. It kept me guessing the entire time about what would happen next. It had humorous and tantalazing scenes. It also showed glimpes into the other main characters personalities and histories instead of just focusing on just the one character's story as most sequels in a series do. I suggest starting from the beginning of the series if you are new to the Vegas Vampires series and keep in mind, their story gets better as the series moves along.
opod story of a very real situation some women find themselves in, but this time with a vampire!
I like everything about this book except for the ending. It was just kind of depressing and happy at the same time
Hooking up with a vampire has its risks-but getting pregnant usually isn't one of them. Tell that to Brittany Baldizzi, who finds herself in the family way with no father in sight. After their one night of passion, vampire Corbin Jean Michel disappeared off the face of the earth-or at least off the Vegas strip.
Corbin is a vampire with a cause, secretly trying to find a cure for his condition. But when he finds out Brittany is pregnant with his child, Corbin can't keep his paternal instincts from trumping his bloodsucking ones. Even when showing his hand could cost him the woman he can't help but love.
