Excellent mystery set in the mid-eighteen hundreds, New York state. The inside look at a community of Shakers and their beliefs was an additional bonus. Really easy read, smooth flow, and believable characters. I enjoyed it immensely.
Interesting period mystery series, cut above the fast read type.

This was the first Mary Jo Adamson book I have read, would highly
recommend this book. I was not able to guess whodunit.

This book is a historical mystery. It reminded me a bit of Caleb Carr. I could not put it down. I loved it.
