This pushed several of my ick buttons:
-The heroine goes from virgin to whore in 0.2 seconds
-The heroine goes from ignorant virgin to horny sex kitten who gives best sex ever in 0.2 seconds.
-The heroine is very noisy during sex, and several times is described as grunting during sex.
-Several times the heroine says no, but the heros ignore her (and have sex anyway) because they "know" she doesn't really mean it.
-Awkward dialogue and overuse of the word "slit".
-The entire book has a freshman feel to it, I've seen better writing in Jr. High bathroom graffiti.
-Needs an editor and thesaurus.

Very dissapointed in this book. I love the idea of the female lead being dominated by the two males that are going to be sharing her bed, I really don't like the idea of the female lead being totaly and utterly spineless. Yes her character worked with the story, but I spent half the book wanting to smack her and tell her to grow a backbone!

Very hot and steamy!
The plot is far-fetched in a few parts, but it doesn't detract from the overall story.
Blackmailed has explicit scenes between two men and a woman as well as scenes with one man and a woman and includes some bondage. There isn't any male-male interaction. I thought the sex scenes were well-written and not at all degrading to any of the characters.
My husband also enjoyed this book!

While 'Blackmailed' lacks the suspense implied by its title, this menage sex romp is well-written with an unexpected twist at the end. Supporting character Scott will bring a smile to your face and although it seems at times that the heroine, Brianna, lacks assertiveness, her back story explains her submissiveness. Meanwhile, our heroes, Cole and Tyler, care about and cosset the previously abused and neglected Brianna in such a way that you can't help but respect them and wish you had a couple of guys like them adoring you.

Hmmm, I came very close to putting this book down without finishing it. What bothered me so much was the fact that the two guys were initially using her practically as a plaything - without much thought to her at all. It was all about them and what they wanted - first and foremost. To make matters worse, some of the acts were forced and a bit rough. It just pushed the ick button for me. The thing is, the author did try to soften things by tossing in statements about the heroine enjoying it, blah, blah, blah, but it didn't quite ring true or sound plausible. The fact is, things were still forced on her in a way that made me uncomfortable, as in she didn't have a choice and the guys didn't really seem to care.
Thankfully, things did change for the better when the two guys came to realize how much they loved her and that she was in danger, but the beginning still left a bit of a lingering bad taste. All in all, it's not a bad book. It has a nicely tied up ending and I loved the secondary character - her brother Scott. Plus that, as you can see from a lot of the other reviews here, many people loved this book, so maybe it's just me.
