This was my first contact with this author. Not only does he write great mysteries but they take place, for the most part, in NH, the state in which I reside. It's great when someone in the novel picks up the newspaper that I read or a magazine from the Society for the Preservation of New Hampshire Forests. He goes into great detail about the geography and towns, etc. along the 18 mile coastline of NH. All this along with a great story-line. It has caused me to order from PBS almost all of his other books in this series.
Good story, though not as good as "Dead Sand". DuBois' descriptions of the New Hampshire coast, and his character development, is excellent. There is certainly enough action to keep a reader's interest. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
