I am really enjoying Harrison's books. They all seem to have this neat little twist that makes them stand out. This one is no exception and probably one of the more "twisty" books I've read of hers.
This story follows Vesper, an unhappy gal working at a dismal restaurant. She had previously left the religious cult she was raised in and was determined never to go back. Then she receives an invitation to a wedding. Not just any wedding though. One that unites her past love with her past best friend. Furious, she decides that she will attend out of spite. Once there, it is a gradual build as we start seeing why Vesper is such a black sheep. It gets crazy in the end albeit a bit predictable.
The story had some great characters and a wonderful plot. It just kind of dragged in the middle and the ending a bit foreseeable. Still a great read and definitely recommended.
