A fitting addition to the trilogy tale of the Violets...Until now, only a naturally occurring phenomena - People with violet eyes able to summon the spirits of the dead and talk with them. Now the Corps has decided to manipulate DNA to create their OWN "Violets" artifically even if a few must die to perfect the formula... Only Natalie Lindstrom, a natural violet who has refused to "join" the Corps is aware of the plot and its horrendous results but can she even stop it - much less help the poor souls already inoculated....

Really good story in the continuing series about the Violets, people who can communicate with the dead. This time, someone is trying to create Violets in the lab... with deadly consequences.
This book was much better than "With Golden Hands"!

I've read the entire series and have enjoyed each book. From Black Rooms was a good read but the ending was terrible, hurried, and unsatisfying; especially as the last book for this series.
