I really liked the camp setting. It provides a lot of opportunities for humor and canine insight (and insight into the humans who are so obsessed with dogs that they would go to such a camp). I enjoyed reading about the activities, and I really loved the ending, which of course I won't give away, but anybody who admires dogs ought to get a kick out of it.

Like all of Susan Conant's books this one is great. Even if you don't love dog shows you will love her books

Great read as well as a look into what it takes to show a dog.

A Dog Lover's Mystery...Funny quirky Holly Winter, columnist for Dog's Life magazine, and Rowdy, her champion malamute, fall into yet another mystery to be solved.

I have loved this series, but this one was B_O_R_I_N_G!
No body until 3/4 through the book, and an extremely dull ending. Most of the book is about AKC policies and politics, who cares?

I am glad that Holly's adventures are not always in Cambridge. I really enjoy this series.

I love a good mystery, particularly when animals are involved. I enjoyed the book though I think the author gets too involved with AKC & APDT descriptions.

Not her best work a bit too dry for my taste.

Holly and Rowdy go to Doggie Summer camp, Waggin' Tail, in the scenic Maine woods, with fellow dog folk and their collection of dogs.
