Sometimes a little technical but overall, a good read.
First Whitcomb book I've read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
FBI special agent is to fight terrorism
Clancy - move over, there is a new action writer in the game.
Really good action/thriller.
Really good action/thriller.
A 15 yr member of the FBI who received its covered Medal of Bravery, former agent Christopher Whitcomb electrified readers with breathtaking memoir, COLD ZERO. Now his remarkable past and hard edged prose illuminate his highly acclaimed first thriller.....Selected for the FBI's elite Hotsage Rescue Team, Special Agent Jeremy Walker is about to fight terroism at it's source - by diving headlong into a violent world of trapdoor truths and shifting alliances. And he'll have company: a beautiful executive more adept at murder than marketing who turns his assignment into a cipher, a ruthless tycoon set on selling a revolultionary technology to terrorists, and a female senator and presidential hopeful charged with an unspeakable crime. Here there is no justice - and only one way out of the darkness: Head even depper into the shadows.
A pretty good set up for a series to come. I'll read the next one.
Good first fiction novel. Flowed well, and kept interest. Good book for someone interested in the action/adventure genre. Follow up novel, "White," was also enjoyable.
