I hadn't read any of the other books written previously about the unsolved Black Dahlia murder, so I can't compare it to any other work about it. It is a fascinating read, a book that was very thoroughly researched and well-documented. A very revealing book and at times very riveting.

Somewhat graphic content picture-wise but very interesting account of a still unsoved murder.

This version seems more plausible than any of the others "Dahlia" books out there. The author, Donald Wolfe, lived in Los Angeles during the time and, although we was only in his teens when Elizabeth Short turned up in the vacant field on Norton St, he's been curious all his life about what actually happened to her. This is a pretty good "new" version of the short life of the Black Dahlia.
