Garrett is a human private investigator. He is tough, humorous and a softy for a beautiful woman. His world is full of other human types: dwarves, ogres, trolls, elves,etc. which makes for some interesting interactions.
The Storm Warden's(powerful magician) daughter is kidnapped and he is hired to find her. To do this he must work with a half elf assasin, the two right hand men of the leading criminal mastermind, and assorted other fascinating folk. But who is really trying to help and who is in this for reasons of their own ?
This is a different type of mystery with lots of fun twists !
