Gwen Proctor has a new assignment: find Remy Landry who has been missing for three years in Tennessee. Gwen begins her investigation but the closer Gwen gets, the closer she is a threat that looms back home. The Belldene family is now the enemy of Gwen, Sam and her children. A personal vendetta collides with Gwen's investigation. Is Gwen ready for the toll that this could take on everyone she loves?
Bitter Falls is another adventure of The Stillhouse Lake series. Caine's writing is still as strong as the first book even though she is personally battling for her life in real time. I'm now looking forward to reading the last book and I highly recommend this series to those who love mystery and adventure.

A fast paced thriller that I read in the wee hours of the night, turning pages as fast as I could.
Gwen was the wife of an executed serial killer of young girls and has come a long way. She is a Private Investigator with two children and a lover who is the brother of one of the slain girls.

The book has everything one wants in a thriller, excitement and a spine tingling adventure as Gwen and the FBI go after a cult who kidnaps young children he can make into Saints.

Read it, you will not want to put it down.
