Argeneau Family series. Vincent's plays are being sabotoged and he asks Bastian to send an investigator. However, when he opens his door to a young, human, woman PI his shock has him slamming the door in her face. PI Jackie Morrisey has known about vampires for years, but after having her heart broken by one years ago, she finds it hard to even by polite, much less cooperate with one. The sparks fly between her and Vincent. Has humor and thrills as the hunt for the saboteour risks Jackie's life. Another winner in this series.

2nd book I've read in a series of 5, can't wait to read the others.
5 funny modern day vampires. 3 brothers-Lucern, Etienne, Bastien and sister-Lissianna Argeneau. Then there is cousin Vincent. Did I mention
mother Argeneau is always scheming to get them all married so she can have grand children.

Another in the Argeneau vampire series. Best series since Cahrlaine Harris' vampire series with Sookie Stackhouse.

This was a great vampire romance. It also had murder mystery mixed in which I really love.

This is cousin Vincent and Jackie's story. I love the way in each of this series the mortal is changed in a different way. The only thing that confused me was that in Book 4 "Tall, Dark and Hungry" Vincent is portrayed as a flambyant dippy actor. Yet in this story he's a sucessful theater producer. Still an enjoyable read. Got introduced to the Notte family too. Gave it 4 stars.

As always one of my favorite authors puts a comic romantic spin on a vampire romance. Loved it.

Very Steamy. There were pages i was embarrased to read, but there were others i wanted to read over and over again. There are twists and turns, and some things you don't really see coming, then think about it a bit, and relize you did. There are quites a few charactors the further you get in the story, and most of the time, it's the people they barly talk about that end up being an important part of the story. Deffinintly a 5 star, and a "can't put down" book.

Argeneau Family series Bk 5... I've read 5 of the books and again this book has left me wanting to read more about this family. Cousin Vincent's plays are being sabotoged and he asks Bastian to send an investigator. However, when he opens his door to a woman PI his shock has him slamming the door in her face, plus she's human. Looking forward to reading Bk 6...

This is another story of the Argeneau vampire family. This story is about Vincent. The take on who and what vampires are is a wonderful concept. Not ghoulish at all. The book is funny, upbeat and romantic

This book in the Argeneau Vampires series gives the story of Vincent and Jackie. I enjoyed this book as it fleshed out Vincent as being a complex man not looking for his one and only and having her drop into his world. Jackie knowing about the vampire world made her turning easier, but I did think she adjusted a bit to easy. This book introduces lot of new characters which hopefully will have there own stories told in further books.

Rule #1: Never get involved with someone who won't be there for you when the sun comes up.

Once bitten, twice shy, and sexy PI Jackie Morrisey wasn't going there again. Vincent Argeneau may be the hottest guy she's ever met, living or dead, but she's here to stop a killer from turning this vampire into dust, not to jump into bed with him.

Rule #2: Never kiss a vampire . . . it can be a pain in the neck.

Okay, so Vincent's had four hundred years to perfect his kissing skills, and he does look rather tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective . . . did we mention he can kiss? Jackie needs to be on her guard, or else she'll have to come up with a new rule: If you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember.
