This certainly is not my usual cozy read; however, after saying that I absolutely loved this book. The plot is a tad dark and the hero is flawed, but it caught my attention immediately and I could not put it down. The characters are rich and interesting and some of the types I am sure you know. I read it in one sitting, till 1:30 a.m. this morning. I adore English country-side mysteries and any Southern mystery is always first on my list. Give this a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.
