As a biography, it does its job - as a general read, it's frustrating and not always linear and occasionally just misses something. I love a good biography and while this is well rounded for such an imposing figure... it seemed like every bit of information was included, no notes left aside and many topics harped upon repeatedly. A bit tiring and confusing to follow, but perhaps that was fitting?
