My eight year old read the first couple and then made me read them aloud so that we could share the story. He has since read the collection from front to back at least three times. Very similar to other action stories for his age range. Element Powers. Good vs. Evil. Learning to work together as a team. Challenges and Strengths. Mostly, I love that he wants to read!

My son got this for a gift, but he does not think that he will get around to reading it. He has a shelf full of books to read yet. I am sure that anyone who likes Bionicles, though, will like this book.
