I like bks with imperfect heroines. Though the one in this bk is beautiful, she has insecurities and feels undesirable due to scars she is left with after a car accident.

Leah refuses to get involved with her new boss, Jason, because he like everyone else appears to only be interested in her looks. Unknown to Jason, Leah was scarred in an accident and carries emotional baggage as well.
This story is a wonderful story of healing from a bad marriage and a death of loved ones. Both characters are developed far more than you usually encounter in these types of books. A great book by a great author.
