I've read a lot of "horse stories" books in my day, but this one was new for me. This book has short stories and some excerpts from novels. Most of the stories I hadn't seen before. Of course there's an excerpt from Black Beauty which everyone has read already -- or should have -- but I found a lot of interesting stories in this book. Easy to read. I liked it.
