Clyde Edgerton's earlier books are better, but this is an enjoyable read. It is about a twenty year old bible salesman who is innocent and gullible. He hooks up with a guy who has him believing they are working undercover for the FBI. Very entertaining.

If you like Clyde Edgerton (Raney is one) you will likethis book. It is full of humor and has a great story line. In this new book, the character is a travelling Bible salesman and his escapades are hilarious!
