This book explained a lot of what goes on in the red light districts of India and how Project Rescue helps intervene through prevention and restoration. God truly shines throughout this book by explaining how the emotional and spiritual needs can be a huge message to these women who have been looked down upon, abandoned, abused, used, suicidal, demon possessed, HIV/AIDS victims, etc. I have read about 30 human trafficking books now and I usually don't cry while reading these stories at all (more horrified and angry) but the Holy Spirit really caused a bunch of tears to come out of me in even the first pages of this book. I truly loved it and think that anyone who is a Christian and has a heart-string for learning about modern-day slavery needs to read this. It was a much different book than I've read before. It gives you insight, understanding, and spreads the true love of Christ for the oppressed!

Excellent book - very eye opening - sad. Makes me want to adopt from India yesterday! The unfortunate part of this book is that it is not only India that is at fault. Wonderfully written - fact based. Thank you for enlightening me.
