This book is well written and a straight forward read. On page 120 he sums up what seems to be lacking in political discourse: "good and decent people can disagree politically without disrespecting or even disliking each other personally". Van Jones has worked with people from both sides of the political spectrum to accomplish change. He gives interesting insights on how liberals and conservatives differ and agree. When both sides demonize the other, nothing gets done. The index includes many ways to get involved and make a difference. Jones addresses many issues which should have a common ground and interest. book received in goodreads contest with expectation of fair/unbiased review
