This book provides a good overview of the whole "down low" phenomenon and the way it stigmatizes gay black men. It points out the hypocrisy of a culture that frequently turns a blind eye to cheating spouses/bfs while reacting in horror at similar acts involving cheating with a spouse of the same sex. However it occasionally becomes bogged down cataloguing the media's coverage with repetitive lists
