Another great installment of the Guardians of Eternity series! This is Salvatore's story and I must say it's everything I'd hoped it would be. A fun, fast paced story with well crafted characters. I can't wait for Tane's story!

In the previous installments, Salvatore has always been the bad guy, interested only in saving his species from extinction, no matter how he has to do it. He was a very unlikable character until this book, I guess finding your true mate can humble a man. And now we see a totally different side of Salvatore. I actually found that i liked him after this book, and Harley seems to be a perfect match for him. As the series moves along, the group increases and we get to see previous couples come back to the story. Even the funny Levet is still around, but seems to vanish shortly after the beginning. But the women won't let the men leave it at that, it seems they will be searching for him and Tane in the next book. And the vampires and werewolves must come together to defeat a common enemy to save the world from a demon lord trying to return from his realm...

I enjoyed this installment so much i read it in one day

I just love Alexandra Ivy's Guardians! Watching as her arrogant, over-bearing alpha's get tamed by their females is fun and sexy. She has a way of making a character completely unlikeable in one book, only to make you love him when she tells his story - as was the case with Salvatore's story in this one. It's not necessary to read them in order, but as is usually the case, it's best if you do - especially with the 4 sisters plot.

Great read - paranormal romance with a lot of action. Salvatore the King of the Werewolves finally gets a girl... [If you've been keeping up with the series, you know he has tried twice before only to be cut out by vampires.] There's a big difference here - this time he really wants her! A true werewolf mating hasn't occurred in centuries but something is rolling back the clock for Salvatore and his heroine, Harley. Since Harley has been raised to believe Salvatore would kill her and had already killed her sisters she is less than thrilled at the prospect. If only Salvatore wasn't so luscious... There are several bad guys - all the way from sort-of-bad but mostly mistaken Caine, through Briggs a [truly] rotten werewolf who is fronting for the really big bad, a demon lord who wants a way into this dimension...

As is usual with her books - most of the players from previous books have parts to play in the final resolution. Reading out of order can cause you to miss some important elements...

Enjoyed this book quite a lot. I would have been a bit lost if I had not read the previous books in the series however. There are several characters that show in the earlier books. I am curious in the last sister that was introduced in a snippit at the end, but don't see any mention on Ms. Ivy's website.
