Fun and humorous book. The author is a colorist at Salon AKS and is the wife of Kao Hui, an acclaimed stylist. Although a fictional book, I'm sure she was able to use her real life experiences to provide the base for the novel.

This book is really entertaining. It describes the "caste system" within the salon industry and the different type of Manhattanites/New Yorkers. The heroine, Georgia, is a young lady from the sticks who works her way up in a fancy salon who struggles with her past and her identity. I found it very entertaining, and I found myself cheering Georgia on in her career.
