This would have been a great read except for the completely unnecessary magical elements. They interrupted the flow of the story and didn't make any sense at all.

This story was so sappy it made my teeth grind. It was a cute story, but long and drawn out. It took pages for anyone to say or do anything. Having never read Heather Cullman before I was surprised by the syrupy sweetness of her story. I realize that some people like this type of story, but I was disappointed.
I loved this book. The secondary characters where as interesting as the main characters.
