I was shocked and amazed that any book was able to enchant me the way Between Sisters did from the first moment I opened the book.

While I don't have a sister with which to compare this story to, I had lived through a similar experience with my oldest brother. It pains me that we can't get over our past, but my present and future are much brighter without his shadow to overcast upon it.

Even though the book was somewhat predictable, the way it was told made it even more poignant. Not every piece of the puzzle was formed until the end, and I loved how Hannah wove it together. This was my first read by this author, and it won't be my last.

Very moving. I have to admit, there was a lump in my throat. And that does not happen very often.

An easy summer read. But with enough story-line and engaging characters to keep the pages turning....it's easy to understand the relationship between the sisters--even though they are so different. I have a sister, and it's not often that an author gets the nuances so right in the way two people relate to one another....Hannah does here. These two women are struggling as adults to find the innocence in their relationship that they once had--before it's too late. It made me want to call my sis' right up...

A beautifully written tale about two sisters and their shared family dysfunction. This inspiring story gives hope that it is never too late to restore relationship and start a new history together.

I thought it was a good book with a well written story line. Having 5 sisters I could relate to the feelings and frustrations of that relationship and by the time the book was done, I felt compelled to want to call and tell them how much I loved them. This is my first Kristin Hannah book and I would be willing to read more by this author.

Your sister is always your sister. Some of them stay close, others drift apart. But when push comes to shove as they say, it's your sister who is there for you. This is very apparent in this book. Good story, I did find the ending just a little too Hallmarky, but otherwise a good book.

Another excellent book from Hannah! It was sweet but not too sappy with some romance thrown in... Nice story about the love between two sisters as they navigate life's strange waters...

Years ago, Meghann Dontess made a terrible choice that cost her everything, including the love of her sister, Claire. Now, Meghann is a highly successful attorney who doesn't believe in intimacyâuntil she meets the one man who can change her mind. Claire Cavenaugh has fallen in love for the first time in her life. As her wedding day approaches, she prepares to face her strong-willed older sister. Reunited after more than two decades apart, these two women who believe they have nothing in common will try to become what they never were: a family. Tender, funny, bittersweet, and moving, Between Sisters skillfully explores the profound joys and sorrows shared by sisters, the mistakes made in the name of love, and the promise of redemption.
This book is a 2003 rendition of a Kristin Hannah book. It's one that has more romance than the newer Kristin Hannah books such as The Great Alone or The Nightingale. It has a plot that kept me reading until the very end. The ending was very good and made the book worth reading. If you enjoy romance with your fiction then you will enjoy this book.

Wonderfully written book that hit home with many aspects of my life. If you have a sister you have to read this book. It makes me feel like I had better do more appreciating and forgiving of family members. Life is just too short to hold grudges and hurt feelings.
