A good beginner's book if you are interested in trying your hand at quilting.

Even though the book is from the 70's and some of the fabric shown is rather "groovy", it's a great basic quilting book. Full instructions for lots of projects using old pattern favorites such as attic windows, star patterns, log cabin, windmill, star of Bethlehem, applique patterns, etc.

I got this book because I love the gaudy 60's print quilt on the front cover. What can I say...I am a sucker for Retro!! Inside I found many treasures. It is full of fun ideas you wont find anywhere else. This book even teaches how to turn your child's art projects (using fabric crayons)into fun quilting projects. It may be old but it is a treasure.

A colorful assortment of projects. Excellent for the beginner quilter. Contemporary projects such as the bandanna bedspread.
