Excellent story as all Miss Scottoline books very well written.

I love love love this book! This is my favorite book of Lisa Scottoline and the favorite so far of Rosato and Associates. I agree that the bickering could have been less, but it is part of the characters' personalities. I am really looking forward to the next Rosato and Associates book!

An excellent book in the series; thoroughly enjoyed the focus on Judy Carrier in this one. She has much to deal with: case load, boyfriend issues, family secrets revealed, mother/daughter issues, mystery, drama. Good read; looking forward to the next one!

A quick paced book that keeps your interest throughout. Good mystery with some interesting twists.

After reading other Scottoline books, this one was a let down. I don't know if I would have finished it, if it had been an unfamiliar author; I kept thinking that it would get better. Both Judy and her mom's constant complaining and quarreling was tiresome and the big family dilemma seemed an after thought, with the resulting discussion juvenile. Boyfriend was a caricature and the relationship did not flow like two people who have been living together. Their relationship and also those of her friends seemed more like teenagers, although that would be a dis to my teens. Basically, the entire mystery and suspense was not suspenseful, but rather overblown. The entire book just did not seem written by a top-notch author.

A big disappointment with an author I like and always read! Boring, no mystery to speak of, no interesting legal trial, just lots mother/daughter problems and a family secret. A big waste of time....blah!
